Yes, I know it might not be local, but lately I have had a hankering for some cheap Italian food! They also have unlimited breadsticks!! (which are vegan when ordered without the butter sauce.

VEGAN:

Thank you for your interest in the Fazoli's menu. Although we are limited in vegan options, we do offer a few. The list of these options includes:

Spaghetti (or any of our other noodles)

Marinara Sauce

Dry Breadsticks - no garlic butter topping

Garden Side Salad - Lite Italian Dressing, no croutons

Lemon Ice

MMMMM I know what ill be getting when I go there!!

I recently called boulder baked to inquire about their vegan options!

They responded very kindly and this is the majority of what they said!

Vegan:

We will always have a selection of vegan options available! Cookies and cupcakes and many other choices. However it changes every day so please call ahed or come in to the store and you can see all the options we have!

They responded the next day with a very kind email!

Hi Josh,

We do have vegan options! You can ask to have any of our vegetarian sandwiches (except eggplant parm) without the cheese and the mayo and they become vegan friendly. Our bread does not contain any animal products or by products. Our salads can also be vegan friendly if you ask to remove the items you do not want. We have a few vegan soups as well. It's an Einsteins Bagels... What do you expect? haha It's nothing special! I would not go here normally but the fact that I have a $50 gift card here kinda changes my mind! They aren't very vegan friendly but I still find options!

I know Chipotle is not local! But however I want to put it up here and still use this blog as a place not just for local places but for places anyone in or around boulder who wants to eat vegan can use! 

(c-mon who doesn't like Chipotle)

Vegan Options

You should avoid our pinto beans (they are cooked with a small amount of bacon), meats (obviously), cheese, sour cream, and chipotle-honey vinaigrette.

Our tofu Sofritas is vegan (and vegetarian) friendly.

Nepal Cuisine

NEPAL CUISINE 

Vegan buffet on mondays 11-3

Personally a huge favorite of mine!! Love this place!! Its all you can eat vegan buffet for around 10$

CAUTION: They do use alot of oils in their cooking

(dont eat too much or you may feel bloated afterwards haha)

My recomendation... GO HERE!!! (especially if you like Nepalese cuisine)

So glad they support and cater to the vegan community!

For a not sit down restaurant this place is amazing! Has the local boulder feel and the prices aren't too bad! they cater to vegans (YAY) and I have never once run into a mean employee there they are always super helpful!

I recently E-mailed illegal pete’s and they sent me back with an awesome nice message!

Josh, we have lots of vegan options. Enclosed is an allergen chart, but the following are vegan:

Cilantro Lime Rice, Brown Rice

Black and Pinto Beans

Fajita Veggies

Primavera Veggies

Our potatoes are fried in the same oil that our battered fish are fried in so may come into contact with fish

All of our salsas are vegan as is our Tomato Vinaigrette.

As you probably know, you can substitute dairy for guac and our guac is Vegan.

Our Pesto and Veggie Green Chile are also Vegan.

The Veggie Medley we use for breakfast Is vegan, too.

All of our Tortillas and Chips are vegan, too.

Welcome! What this blog is...

Hello Everyone!! 

This is a blog for anyone to utilize! I created it to make plant based, animal friendly, vegan eating in and around boulder super easy. 

I have contacted many restaurants and local businesses about their vegan options and I have made it my quest to put them all up here! 

If you have any suggestions on who I should contact next or if you know of a great local place that has awesome vegan options please feel free to let me know! (josh.hykan@gmail.com)

I am mostly aiming for awesome local businesses but I will also but up some other places too!
